Over the next few weeks I'll be trying to do profiles on all of the projects I worked on later last year. There's a little bit of back-up right now.
So, I'll first start of with the Film II I acted in last semester. It's called The Hour and was written and directed by Tim Mitten.
Reese, a young twenty-something, is finally ready to break out on her own, but must first give her ex-boyfriend the last of things.
'Twas a fun set to work on, and was truly a skeleton crew the first day, so I got to try my hand different aspects of a film set that I don't normally get to work on. The second day we had a few more people, and I was defintely tired, because if I remember correctly I made friends with a fly. We took a nap together in between takes. Yes that's right a literal buggy-bug fly. One of the stranger things I've done in my downtime on set.
This film fell smack dab in the middle of shooting for a feature called "Tonight She Comes," so I was balls tired for most of Novmeber and the following month, but this was a pretty easy a free flowing shoot, and I was able to stretch some improv skills.
I actually only wrapped on this film yesterday, as we had some ADR left to do after production wrapped, but now we are, so I'm gonna share some screen shots sent to me by the lovely director.
The film will be shown at the Film II screenings this spring, be on the lookout on my Events page.
